Every instrument’s record in one place

Instrument register

Multifunction testers, insulation and loop testers, flue gas analysers, detector testers, lux meters and more, each with make, model, serial number, asset ID and status.

Calibration certificates

Record the dates, lab, certificate number and as-found result, and attach a photo or PDF of the certificate.

Due-date reminders

Each instrument shows its certificate due date. If you allow notifications, KnownGood reminds you 30 days and 7 days before, and on the day.

Your own checks

Set up each instrument’s functions and test points once. Record the reference you used and each reading; the first check sets your baseline.

Flagged readings

Readings outside the baseline and tolerance you chose are marked Flagged so you can decide what to do. The judgement on an instrument stays with you.

Repairs and other events

Log repairs, damage, loans and other events against each instrument, alongside its certificates and checks.

PDF instrument record

Export certificates, checks with the reference used, events, remarks and your sign-off with your saved signature. Every page is A4. Share, print or save to Files.

For trades and teams

For electricians, gas engineers, fire alarm and emergency lighting engineers, and anyone who looks after test instruments for a team.

A record, not a verdict

KnownGood is a record-keeping tool. It does not test, verify, calibrate or sign off any instrument, and it does not replace a calibration certificate from a calibration lab. Deciding whether an instrument is fit to use stays with you.
